Firstly the artwork is produced, either coloured linework or a photographic mock-up for the makers to produce a sculpt for the mold.

STAGE 1
Once the sculpt is made, then the makers turn that into a mold with which to produce the final waterglobe.
It’s at this stage that the lat changes can be made to the design.
The Mold
STAGE 2
Finally, the mold is then used to produce the final waterglobe and the glass dome, water and sometimes glittler, is added. It’s also when the waterglobe is painted.
